ARMISTICE DAY COMMEMORATION SERVICE

The signing of the Armistice is observed annually in New Zealand at 11am on 11 November (the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month). There will be a minute of silence at 11am to signify when the truce went into effect and in memory of those New Zealand soldiers who died while serving their country.
